Shades of rose, pink & purple

Pink stands for gentleness, sensitivity, affection and restraint. Pink is also known as the color of the heart. In addition, pink looks delicate and soft.

Pink for girls, blue for boys? That's the rule. But for centuries pink was the color for little boys and blue was the color of little girls. Girls were dressed in blue because blue is the color of the Virgin Mary.

That changed after World War I because blue naval uniforms, blue overalls, etc., were everywhere. Blue was then suddenly the men's color, and in contrast pink became the color of femininity.

Purple flowers are appropriate for gifts intended to make an impression. Why?

Because the dye once extracted from the murex snail was extremely precious and for a long time was reserved for emperors, kings and priests.
